Trending Rings for Your Holiday Proposal

Did you know Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve make up three of the four most popular dates to get engaged?

Makes perfect sense to us… long, cozy nights, and all that holiday magic. It’s like the world is already decorated to celebrate your love, and luckily, in Minnesota, we have no shortage of amazing places, (or rings!) to help you pop the question! Here are some of our favorite holiday proposal locales, and the rings that fit oh-so-beautifully with them.

Home for the Holidays

Turn one of your everyday locations into a magical memory!

Whether that’s by proposing at the local dog park, or even in your own home, the beauty of an “everyday proposal” is that she won’t see it coming, yet she’ll be able to revisit the memory in person every single day.

Christmas in the City

If you and your partner are enchanted by the feel of big city lights, you can bet that just about anywhere in downtown St. Paul will be decked out for your big moment. It’s hard to beat the area’s old-time elegance, especially if you go in the evening when the décor is on full display. Likewise, the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis offers a splendid backdrop for your holiday proposal.

Dreamy Day Spots

Many of the Twin Cities’ parks make ideal places to propose, and if you go on a weekday, you’ll often have the whole vista to yourselves, creating the perfect atmosphere for this very personal moment. Or, pop the question at a Christmas tree farm! You found the perfect tree, now it's time to propose to your perfect woman... that's a proposal sure to capture the magic of the season.

Packed Up Proposals

Sometimes, the best way to set the mood is to get away from it all. Going ‘Up North’ to a cabin or resort is such a perfect way to propose because it means your first days as an engaged couple will be spent on vacation. You’ll be able to revel in each other and the life you’re building together, and more than likely, there will be a fireplace. (Cue the romance.)

Go Wild

If you’re the sort to go all out, consider proposing at a Wild’s Game. If you work with the team, you may be able to get your picture on the jumbotron, or even be able to propose on the ice between periods or pre- or post-game!
